We had a show with Evergreen today.
Rainier Rabbits show
Kyla won a Best of Breed with her Florida White and Holland Lop. Honorable Mention in show with her Holland Lop.
Jessica won Best Opposite of Breed with a Holland Lop.
Evergreen Youth Show
Kyla won Reserve in Show with her Florida White.
The Maddux girls won Best of Breed with a Havana.
I bought a Netherland Dwarf from Bethany of Dwarf Villa. Hopefully she will throw some nice babies.

We had 5 kids spend 50 minutes at Cascade House and an hour at Living Court Assisted Living. I think that it is important that we teach the kids to give their time to help others.

November 21 meeting
October 22, 2009
Leslie Hobbs came and spoke with the kids last night. They really enjoyed learning what she had to teach them. Hopefully we will find a lot of guest speakers this year, it is good for them to learn from different perspectives and teaching styles. Thank you Leslie.

First rabbit meeting of the new 4H year

We had our first meeting of the 4H year last night. Dayna did a great job of preparing get to know you activities for the kids. It looks to be an exciting year with a lot of enthusiasm. Several new kids. Next meeting Leslie Hobbs has agreed to come and talk with the kids.

Hi my name is Janet and I am taking care of most of the rabbit things right now so I decided to start this blog. You will see mostly things that the 4H is doing on here.
We will be having our first 4H meeting of the year this next Wednesday. I am excited to see all of the energy the kids have for this next year.
Joni sold most of her rabbits and I decided I needed to keep breeding so I am buying a doe from Bethany of Dwarf Villa at the show in Yelm. Our club is putting on a youth show there with Evergreen. Evergreen has been very good to us.
